letter to you at Hanking of the 85th March last, (1/150/1955) copied to Legation No.81, on the subject of the purchase of Indo-China
Cement for use on the Canton Hunkow Railway, I enclose a copy of a further letter on this subject, which I wrote to ielham at Hongkong at the suggestion of Calder-Marshall, enquiX*** ing what the price of Green Island Cement would have been in connection with this contract, which as you see was worth over $2,000,000, and was peld for out of the loan secured on British Indemnity Funds.
